A Smaller Strixhaven University

Welcome to Strixhold, a complete reimagining of Strixhaven University that aims to evoke the feel of a more intimate school of witchcraft and wizardry. Rather than a sprawling university that spans multiple city-sized campuses, Strixhold is confined to one castle with room for 160 students.

Central Campus

The Central Campus is the primary outdoor gathering space for all Strixhaven students. At its heart lies an amphitheatre, typically occupied by a vibrant garden (left), which magically disappears when the gymnasium floor rises, transforming the area into the Mage Tower arena (right).

The campus also functions as the main passageway between the Biblioplex and three of the five colleges, especially Witherbloom, the only college located apart from the rest of the University.

This map measures 106×108 tiles, and connects to the Biblioplex, Groundkeeper’s Cabin, Runestone Hall,
Silverquill Dramarium, and Witherbloom Conservatory.

Administration and medical

Three floors beneath the Biblioplex lie the Administration and Medical levels.

Level B3 houses administrative offices and a meeting room on the west side, while the east side contains the medical wing, including the intensive care unit, recovery room, operating theater, and doctor’s office.

Level B4 is dedicated to the Archdean’s private office. Behind the desk, a sealed passage leads to a vast dock, with stairs descending further to…

…Level B5, which holds the Archdean’s high-security vault.

This map measures 26×39.5 tiles, it connects to the Biblioplex. It also links to the Central Campus through the Archdean’s secret dock, though this connection is unmarked to maintain its secrecy.

biblioplex

The Biblioplex is a cornerstone of the Strixhaven student experience.

The Ground Level features a tutoring area on the west side, a grand central dining hall, an information and registration desk near the eastern entrance, and stairways leading to the Arcane Archway and Champion’s Respite.

Level B1 houses the library, including a restricted section behind the librarian’s desk. Corridors extend eastward to the Gymnasium.

Level B2 contains the cellars, kitchen, and laundry facilities.
